License Agreement
1. Definitions
"Software" refers to any TorScript product (e-commerce, restaurant ordering, or any future product), including all files, documentation, themes, and updates.
"Licensee" refers to you, the person or entity that purchased the license.
"Licensor" refers to UNIVERSALHOMEANDTECH LTD, trading as TorScript.
2. License Grant
Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to:
- Install and use the Software on the number of domains permitted by your plan
- Modify the Software source code for your own use
- Create and operate live businesses using the Software
3. License Types

4. Per-Domain License
Each license is keyed to specific domain(s). Subdomains of a licensed root domain are included free (e.g. shop.example.com is covered by a license for example.com). Local development environments (localhost, *.test, *.local) do not count against your domain limit.
5. Modifications
You may freely modify the Software source code for your own use. You may engage third-party developers to make modifications on your behalf, provided they only access the code in the course of work for you and do not retain copies for redistribution.
6. Restrictions
Licensee shall NOT:
- Redistribute, resell, lease, sublicense, or give away the Software or any modified version of it
- Share license keys with third parties
- Use the Software to build a product that directly competes with TorScript
- Remove or alter copyright notices, license verification, or attribution
- Claim ownership of the Software or its original code
- Publish the source code on GitHub or any other public repository
7. License Verification
The Software connects to our license server during installation and periodically thereafter to verify your license. This requires an active internet connection. Tampering with or bypassing the license verification system is a material breach of this Agreement and will result in immediate termination of the license.
8. Source Code
You receive 100% of the PHP source code. No files are encrypted or obfuscated beyond a thin license-check stub. You may modify the code for your own use but may not redistribute modified versions.
9. Support & Updates
Support and updates are provided for the duration specified by your plan. Support is delivered by email and through the buyer dashboard. After expiry, you may continue using the last version installed but will not receive new features, bug fixes, or security patches unless you renew.
10. Ownership
The Software and all intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of UNIVERSALHOMEANDTECH LTD. This license grants usage rights only.
11. Warranty Disclaimer
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
12. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE LICENSE FEE PAID BY LICENSEE.
13. Termination
This license is effective until terminated. Licensor may terminate your license immediately if you breach any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the Software from your servers and any backups.
14. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
